Porcelain Crowns Phoenix
Porcelain crowns can look just like your own teeth,
if they are made by an artist and perfectionist like
Phoenix cosmetic dentist Dr. Arthur Chal.
The standard dental crown, the one that is used most
often, is porcelain fused to metal. While
it is strong, the metal
foundation requires the use of unnatural opaquers, and it will also show a
dark line at the gumline over time.
Dr. Chal uses porcelain crowns made with no metal
in them. They have a natural translucence which mimics natural teeth. In
fact, it is difficult to tell them from real teeth, they look that
beautiful. With modern bonding technology, they are very strong. Many
dentists are not fully trained in this bonding technology and thus they
have problems doing these. Dr. Chal, however, is recognized
around the world for his expertise in this technology and complex cosmetic
dentistry.

Notice in the photos above the difference in the appearance. On the left
they look opaque and have a flat appearance. The dark line at the
gumline is somewhat hidden by the swollen gums, but it is there. Most of
all, they just look fake. On the right are the new all porcelain crowns.
It's hard to tell them from the natural teeth, isn't it? They are
translucent, the color matches, they aren't flat in appearance. There's a
vitality that gives them real beauty, and they're more than just repaired
teeth—they enhance the smile.
